Alhana Bakery is a family-run Middle Eastern bakery established in 2019 in the Greater Toronto Area. Our flagship product is traditional date maamoul — buttery shortbread cookies filled with date paste, baked the same way Middle Eastern families have made them for generations.
Fresh-baked, no preservatives, 21-day shelf life. Unlike imported shelf-stable alternatives, Alhana maamoul is baked weekly in Ontario with no chemical preservatives — clean-label, real ingredients, peak freshness on shelf.
Approved as an Empire (Sobeys / FreshCo / Foodland) Direct-to-Store local supplier in January 2023. Re-engaging with Ontario stores in 2026 under new operations leadership.
